I guess the last time I posted something was a month ago. I can't even began to tell you how fast this month has gone by. It seems like just last week I was emailing and doing office paperwork and now I have to do it all over again. I am not neglecting this blogpage and since it is the one we put on all our p-cards I really should keep better tabs on it. We are also on facebook and my space so you can look us up there.
Ok so I went on a little trip this last week and I had a good time. Despite getting sick and stung by a wasp (a mean little guy) while viewing a 17th century mosque the week went well. In fact the month went well. My colleague and I were able to locate places for students to stay and evaluate the city for teams this summer. Thank the Lord that we were just well enough to visit every city we initially planned to visit. Well, we both got sick on separate days and separate cities which could have hurt our already time strained schedule. We were both better within a half a day and moving on to do some more work. Praise G0d for his protection.
While on this trip we were able to talk to many people about Jes*s and offer them the opportunity to here of His great works. Seed was planted and hopefully it will bear fruit one day.
Funny story: I went to hand out some literature and p-walk around out city. It was the older part with a mosque. In the mosque I was trying to find a English speaker because I had a Bible in the national language but I could not find one. I was sad because I did not want to come home with G0d's word ( I already have a copy). So I was walking out and getting my shoes. When the guy watching my shoes (for safety) wanted some money. I only had one coin but I gave it to him. He still wanted more I did not know what to do so I handed him the copy of G0d's word. He took it and seemed satisfied. He and his friend were reading it before we even left. I would have stuck around but I don't speak the language yet. So can you lift us up to the father about language. We could be so much more effective if we knew the language.
Thanks for reading
