Something we really love about being here are just the fun things we can do for cheap to nothing in the city. We love being out exploring together as a family and finding new things to do. We have a goal of doing something if not every Saturday two times a month to find out more about the city and country we live in. On Saturday, we went downtown and ate lunch at Portabello Market, took Adelynn to play at Hyde Park then went to the Science Museum. The Paella was yummy and in Hyde park they have this HUGE memorial to Princess Dianna for kids to play in. There a sandboxes everywhere, slides and swings. She has a blast but I have to say her favorite part was feeding the swans and the pigeons, we had to pry her away. Matt had fun “teaching” Adelynn about science in the interactive part of the museum, Yes he is a kid at heart. We got home put Adelynn to sleep and watched England vs the USA in the world cup. We know nothing about football but it’s such a big deal here we need to get on board :). Sunday was my day. We went to the Thai festival and ate some yummy food...green curry, fried shrimp, mango sticky rice and of course Thai tea. The music was fun and Adelynn enjoyed dancing. Ended the day by going to church and meeting some more neat people. It was a great weekend!
