Ron and Teresa’s visit! YEA NANNY AND PAPAW

I am not sure who was more excited about my mom and dad being here me or Adelynn.  We went to pick mom up at the airport a few days after Abygail was born.  Adelynn kept saying nanny plane.  She couldn’t stay awake though while we waited but she woke up as soon as we all got in the car and the smile on her face when she saw my mom was perfect.  She wouldn’t let her Nanny out of her sight the whole time mom was here.  Adelynn was in heaven.  We went to her playgroups and singing groups with mom and Adelynn showed off.

Mom was such a huge help here with us.  I couldn’t have been more apprecitative of everything she did while she was here.  She cooked, cleaned, held crying babies, changed diapers, gave baths, did laundry and had plenty of sleepless nights never once complaining about it or acting annoyed.  She really is one of the most selfless people I know.  I love how patient she is and how she shows so much love by serving others.  I enjoyed having her here more than I can express.  Thank you mom

When dad finally arrived, it was time to play and explore.  We did a lot of it too.  We went to museums, went on a tour of the city, drove to Canterbury and saw one of the oldest largest cathedrals in England, and went to Oxford.  Of course Adelynn had to take Papaw to see the peacocks and monkeys and to jumping jelly beans.  We also ate out and enjoyed some yummy food.  Thanks to Matt, Dad and I got to go on a dinner date without the kiddos to a yummy Greek restaurant.  It was nice to have conversation and enjoy his company.  Dad is always challenging us to go deeper in our walk with Christ and helping us seek and learn more about Him.  I appreciate the encouragement and wisdom he gives to us in our family.  Dad it was great to have you here thanks for coming!!

Come back soon.  We miss you already.  LOVE YOU!!
