Jungle Party

My littlest one LoVES animals! So it was fitting to give her an animal party. We wanted Mimi & Pop to be here for her party so it was a few weeks early but hey, it's never too early for a party, right?? I made her a funfetti cake & together matt & I decorated it with grass, elephant, lion, & other animals. I have to say I was quite pleased! Usually I just leave the kids to get on playing together but this time we attempted a few activities. We sang animal songs, acted out animal sounds, pinned the nose on the elephant (thanks to mr. Keith drawing an amazing elephant poster), & Matt & his dad did a puppet show. Realistically this kept their attention for about 20 mins max! Oh well I gave it a go :)! Mr Keith also painted a beautiful jungle animal happy birthday banner for decorations! We also had birthday brownies, sang & blew out candles for mrs. g's bday!! So glad they were here.
The biggest thing we did was make a table play tent for Abygail's present. I showed mrs g my idea Monday night & we all chipped in & made it happen! I'm so pleased with it & really grateful they were willing to help!!
