We got word today that our i800a application has been approved for adoption. This means that the US immigration office has approved us to be able to adopt from CHina. Yea, this is huge! I had been praying that we would have our approval before Feb 1. Look at that, again God is good and in control! Now our agency is just waiting for all of our dossier paperwork work to be double checked and "authenticated" (whatever that means) and we can send off our dossier to China. It looks like that will happen in 2 weeks or so. Once that is done we will get Logged In (LID) to the China system to be matched with a baby or babies. Right now Matt and I are praying about seriously pursuing two at the same time. We have been approved in our home study and our i800a form for 2, but we need to let our agency know if this is something we really want to look for or just one. I can't believe in just a few weeks we will know who our baby is that we get to have in our family. My heart already feels like it knows the child just doesn't have a face yet. In so many ways this really does feel like being pregnant. The anticipation is rising and excitement is growing, and the longing in my heart continues to get stronger. :)
Welcome to our world!! Please join with us as we live in a different land, have crazy and fun experiences, and enjoy life with our family, friends, and our Father! Come experience life with us!
