So just wanted you all to know what was going on with the boys. My world has been filled with disappointment from this whole new computer system in the China Center for Children Welfare & Adoption office. Since they implemented the new system at the end of May NO, yes that's right, NO letters of approval have been issued!!!!!
There have been some come through , a handful, but apparently those had been approved prior to the system being shut down & just hadn't been sent yet.
It's really a miracle that we were able to get Isaiah's file transferred, locked, & our Letter of Intent (LOI) submitted. Other agencies have tried to get files locked & they have just disappeared. It's a crazy mess!!!
I've been feeling so discouraged. We've been waiting 95 days for our letter of approval. Remember the average was 60 with 90-100 being a long wait. Right now there seems to be no end insight to our approval wait.
Please pray!!! We need God to intervene! Not just for us but our boys!!!
Requests:
1. pray that this system gets worked out!!!!
2. We get our approvals soon!! This week or next!!!!
3. Our boys to be healthy & develop well dispite not being loved on & given attention like we would give them
4. My heart...this is so so difficult! Half of my children are on the other side of the world & I can do NOTHING to help them or get to them!
